Step 1: Turn on the computer and press the <F8> key when the Dell Logo appears.
Step 2: From the Advanced Boot Options highlight Repair Your Computer with the arrow keys and press <ENTER>
Step 5: In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, with the option 'Restore without preserving new or changes files' selected, click Next.
Step 6: Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.
Step 2: From the Advanced Boot Options highlight Repair Your Computer with the arrow keys and press <ENTER>
Step 3: Click Next and login to your administrator account on the computer. The administrator account is the account created the first time the computer was turned on.
Step 4: Log in as a user who has administrative credentials, and then click OK.
Step 5: Click Dell DataSafe Restore and Emergency Backup.
Step 5: In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, with the option 'Restore without preserving new or changes files' selected, click Next.
Step 6: Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.
Step 7: Progress status
appears. Click Restart to initiate restoration process.
