Step 1: How To Boot From a CD, DVD, or BD Disc (follow link), or Press the <F12> key on Dell Logo and then in the One Time Boot Menu Select CD/DVD drive.
To start this Windows install insert the first CD or the DVD into the drive and start or restart your computer
Step 2: If an Operating System is already on the Computer then the following screen will appear stating "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD", hit any key on the keyboard to continue.
Step 3: Windows automatically run as the hard drive is blank, and will load files, this may take some time so be patient
Step 4: Win7 will now start the repair/install procedure.
Step 5: Some of these stages can take quite sometimes, so be patient. First you need to select your language, then Time and currency...
Step 6: Now the "Install Win7 " screen will appear, Click on "Repair your Computer" to continue.
Step 7: From the next screen select the operating system on which you wish to do a repair. Select it, then press "NEXT" to continue
Step 9: You are now at the "Recovery Options" menu. Now select "Startup Repair" from the "System Recovery Options" menu.
Step 10: Windows Startup repair will now search for problems that are preventing boot and make changes to fix the problem, this may cause your computer to reboot several times. This process may take some time to complete. If problems are found then Windows will attempt to repair them..
Step 11: Once done the following screen will appear. If you want information on the repair then click on "Click here for diagnostic and repair details" or click "FINISH" to complete the repair.
Step 12: Clicking on "Click here for diagnostic and repair details" will show this menu, scroll up and down for required information, once finished click on "Close" details will now appear, read if need be and then click "CLOSE"...
Step 15: The computer will now reboot, and if Windows was successful in its repair then it should boot to the desktop or login screen.
